For me, Shady Oaks is more than a business — it’s a new chapter. I never expected that this season of my life would include buying and renovating a campground, but the opportunity to move back closer to my hometown and family — and to build something near the Adirondacks — felt like the right step.

Since closing on the property, I’ve been focused on steady, practical improvements and caring for the land thoughtfully. My hope is to build something here that lasts — something that supports the community, welcomes people in, and feels worthy of this special corner of the North Country.
